Don't wait for mold to grow! If it has been longer than 72-hours since you experienced water flooding, leaks, ice dam or moisture damage, call us for a mold test BEFORE you start making repairs. AFTER restoration is completed call us again for a "final" mold test to certify the area is a healthy environment. Many homeowners have experienced remediated water damage that was covered up with the restoration work. As time goes by and temperatures change, the mold reproduces into spores when it finds organic materials such as cardboard, ceiling tiles, and wood products. It can also grow in dust, paints, wallpaper, insulation, drywall, carpet, fabric, and upholstery. As long as mold stays dry and is sealed off, it will not grow. However, it will grow rapidly once it is exposed to the open air, and given warm temperatures and moisture or high humidity - we call "the right conditions". Schedule an air quality test or a black mold inspection.
